HOW TO PUT IN CONTACT LENSES ?
First, wash your hands thoroughly and carefully dry them well.
Open your contact lens case and use the tweezers to take out the lens from the lens tray.
Rinse the lens with contact lens solution. Never use regular water.
Put the lens on your fingertips or the lens inserting stick to put contact lenses in your eyes.
Look in the mirror and hold your upper and lower eyelids open with the hand not holding the lenses.
Look in front of you or up toward the ceiling and place the lens in your eye.
Close your eye slowly and either roll your eye around or press gently on the eyelid to settle the lens in place. The lens should feel comfortable, and you should be able to see clearly after blinking a few times. If it’s uncomfortable, gently take out the lens, rinse it, and try again.
Gently repeat with the second lens.
INSTRUCTION FOR USING THE CONTACT LENSES
Through the instructional video clip, you will have an intuitive and vivid view of how to wear lenses correctly and recognize more important notes in the process of using contact lenses, safe for your eyes and always confident, comfortable when wearing the lens.
HOW TO REMOVE CONTACT LENSES ?
Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them well.
Use the middle finger of your dominant hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid on one eye.
While looking up, use the index finger of that same hand to gently pull the lens down to the white part of your eye.
Pinch the lens with your thumb and index finger and remove from your eye.
After you remove the lens, put it in the palm of your hand and wet it with contact solution. Gently rub it for about 30 seconds to remove any mucus, dirt, and oil.
Rinse the lens, then place it in a contact lens case and cover it completely with contact solution.
Repeat with the other eye.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CONTACT LENSES?
For new contact lenses unopened glass jars/plastic blisters: the lens needs to soak in a specialized lens solution for 4-8 hours to remove all the preservatives.
For contact lens after use: pour the water to soak 2/3 lens tray, soak the lens in the tray facing down (the right side of the lens is facing up) then cover it.
If you wear a contact lens every day, you need to replace the new soaking water every day. And if you less used frequency or don’t use the lens, maximum 3 days, you change the soaking water one time.
IS MY CONTACT LENS INSIDE OUT ?
The trick is to place the lens on your finger so that a cup is formed. Then hold the lens up directly in front of your eyes so you're looking at the side of the cup.
If the edges of the lens flare out to create a “lip” along the edges, it's inside out. If it forms just a perfect "U" shape, it's in the correct position.
Some contact lenses also have a laser marking, such as the brand name, on the edge to help you. If you can read it properly, the lens is not inside out.
WHAT TO DO IF WEARING CONTACT LENS IS UNCOMFORTABLE ?
If you’ve just started wearing contact lenses, know that they may feel slightly uncomfortable for the first few days. This is more common with hard lenses.
If your eye feels dry once you’ve put in your lens, try using rewetting drops made specifically for contacts.
If a lens feels scratchy, hurts, or irritates your eye after putting it in, follow these steps:
+ First, don’t rub your eyes. This can damage your contact lens or increase the discomfort.
+ Wash and dry your hands well. Then remove the lens and rinse it thoroughly with contact lens solution. This can get rid of any dirt or debris that may be stuck to the lens, making it feel uncomfortable
+ Inspect the lens carefully to make sure it’s not torn or damaged. If it is, discard the lens and use a new one. If you don’t have a spare, make sure to follow up with your eye doctor right away.
If the lens isn’t damaged, carefully reinsert it into your eye once it’s been thoroughly rinsed and cleaned.
If your lens is often uncomfortable and the above steps don’t work, or you also have redness or burning, stop wearing your lenses and call your doctor.
