If you're part of the low-makeup team (just a bit of foundation, soft eyeshadow, and a touch of lipstick when heading out), you should go for natural brown lenses. These pair well with your light makeup style—perfect for casual outings, coffee dates, or boba hangouts with your besties.
HOW TO WEAR CONTACT LENSES
Here’s the proper step-by-step guide for putting on your contact lenses:
• Always insert your contact lenses before applying makeup. If any powder accidentally falls into your eye, gently use a cotton swab to dab it out and apply eye drops. Avoid letting the drops run down your face as this can smudge your makeup.
• Before putting lenses into your eyes, apply a drop of eye drops either directly into your eye or onto the lens to keep it moisturized and help it adhere more easily. Don’t skip this step! Eye drops for lens wearers help remove dust particles and keep both your eyes and lenses hydrated.
• If you don’t have a lens applicator, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and avoid letting your fingernails touch the lenses. Only use the soft pads of your fingertips to handle them—this prevents lens damage and scratches to your cornea.![]()
HOW TO REMOVE CONTACT LENSES
• Before removing your contact lenses, apply 1-2 drops into each eye to rehydrate your cornea and lenses.
• If you don’t have a lens remover tool, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and avoid using your fingernails to handle the lenses. Only use the pads of your fingers to remove the lenses (this helps prevent scratches on your cornea or damage to the lens).
• After removing your lenses, apply another 1-2 drops in each eye to help hydrate your eyes. This is also a good time to use any other eye drops you may need.
• After removing the lenses from your eyes, immediately place them into a new contact lens case with fresh soaking solution. Make it a habit to place your lenses in the correct case marked “L” (left) or “R” (right) according to which eye they belong to. This is especially important for those wearing corrective lenses with different prescriptions for each eye.

HOW TO STORE CONTACT LENSES
• If you have different prescriptions for each eye, be sure to check that the lens case has labels “L” (Left) and “R” (Right). Just place your contact lenses in the correct side as labeled.
• When removing the contact lenses from their vial or package, you should soak them in solution for at least 4 hours to remove any preservatives that may be in the water from the vial.
• If you feel irritation in your eyes, like something feels gritty or there’s dust in your eyes, immediately replace the soaking solution and clean the lenses thoroughly. You can use a lens cleaning machine for this. However, if you don't have a lens cleaning machine, wash your hands well, pour some soaking solution into your palm, place the lens into your palm, and gently rub the lens with your finger to remove the dust.
• Never wash your contact lenses with soap, as it will make them unusable.
• After each use of your contact lenses, you should replace the soaking solution and always keep it clean and clear. If any dirt builds up, the lenses can get scratched and cause discomfort. If you don't wear your contact lenses every day, be sure to replace the soaking solution every couple of days to maintain cleanliness.
